Sandra Labastida, LCSW

Sandra Labastida is a behavioral health counselor at our Brighton Park clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Spanish from Millikin University before completing her Masters of Social Work from Aurora University. As a Brighton Park native, she always wanted to give back and support her community. She was drawn to Esperanza when she heard about the construction of a clinic on 47th St and California Ave that would work to bridge the gap in mental health.  Sandra is a life-long learner and values self-care – for her, that’s doing her nails and getting facials. She likes to spend her spare time with her family, friends, and dog named Dino and enjoys swimming, traveling, and watching movies.
