Dr. Oscar Diaz is a pediatrician at our health center in Brighton Park with over 26 years of experience. He came to Esperanza because he believes in community medicine with an emphasis on mental health. Prior to Esperanza, Dr. Diaz worked for Sinai Medical Group and ACCESS Community Health Network. Born and raised in Bolivia, he attended medical school at Universidad Mayor De San Andres in La Paz and completed his residency at Columbus-Cabrini Medical Center and Cabrini Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Diaz enjoys reading and making music.
