Marisol Bucio is a behavioral health counselor that delivers care at our Little Village clinic and via telemedicine. She attended DePaul University where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Human Development and then obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. Marisol is a bilingual therapist (Spanish) and has experience working with a culturally diverse population. She has worked in different settings such as not-for-profit organizations and community agencies. As a Little Village native, Marisol was drawn to Esperanza to serve the community in which she was raised. Marisol specializes in helping children, adolescents, and adults with work-life balance and transitions, depression, stress, anxiety, self-esteem, grief/loss, and trauma. During her free time Marisol enjoys traveling, reading books, and spending time with her friends and family.
