Jessenia Briseño is a behavioral health counselor at our Esperanza 63rd Street clinic. Before joining us, she worked as a social worker at Saint Anthony Hospital in the inpatient psychiatry department. She earned her undergraduate degree at Dominican University in River Forest before completing her Masters of Social Work at UIC Jane Addams College of Social Work. As a Little Village native, she’s always wanted to work for an organization that focuses on the Latinx population, ultimately drawing her to Esperanza. Jessenia is passionate about connecting with others in Spanish, especially while working with kids and their families. In her free time, she enjoys going to the zoo, museums, and summer festivals with her husband and daughter. Jessenia wants her patients to know that she’s a great listener and is here to help!
