Completing the census is easy, safe, and important! When you don’t complete the census, your community loses money for schools, parks, clinics, hospitals, and other services that keep everyone safe and healthy.
Whether you are a citizen, a green card holder, an asylee, or you have no papers at all, your response matters. Completing the census will bring resources to your community no matter what your immigration status is. And remember, there is no citizenship question on the census.
By law, your census information cannot be shared with any government agency, including law enforcement, immigration, the IRS, or Public Aid.
