As another year comes to a close, we’re delighted to share with you the important milestones and successes that made this such a momentous year for Esperanza.
For the second year in a row we received a National Quality Leader Award from the Health Resources and Services Administration - the highest badge of quality given by the federal government to health centers nationwide. Only 3% of health centers in the country earned this distinction last year, and only two in the state of Illinois.
We also unveiled plans for a brand new health center in Brighton Park that will combine the best in clinical care with outstanding community programming and spectacular architecture. This gem will help to transform a vibrant and growing community in dire need of quality health services. And we continued to welcome more people into our family, providing care to thousands of patients who have chosen to make Esperanza their medical home. Last year we had almost 79,000 patient visits - our busiest year to date.
Every success is a testament to the support we get from our donors, community partners and, most importantly, the patients who trust us with their care.
