Dr. David Valero is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and a member of The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine. As an integrative medicine fellow and primary care pediatrician, Dr. Valero likes to evaluate the whole person by focusing on the foundational pillars of physical, mental, and family health. Over his professional and personal development, he has cultivated a deep understanding of the effective blending of Western medicine with traditional holistic modalities.
Dr. Valero received his training in medicine at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and excelled in his pediatrics residency at Lincoln Hospital in New York City. While mastering his western medical training, Dr. Valero became more aware of its limitations in caring for people holistically and decided to pursue his fellowship in integrative medicine at The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine.
